Small lump on vagina. Pea sized, not painful. What is it?
I have just noticed a small lump/bump inside my left labia. It isn't really raised, no discolouration or pain at all. It is hardly visibly-noticable. It is hard and just under pea sized I think.
It can't be an STD, I have never had sex. I am only 15yrs old and am sort of worried but I REALLY do not want to see a GP or tell my mom because I will be way too embarassed. Please help!

Hello,

Well from what you describe, it sounds like a sebaceous cyst.  They are usually small, hard and round about the size of smaller of a pea.  They usually do not require medical treatment unless they become painful or uncomfortable due to the area they are in.  I've had one before that went away without any treatment.  I'd go ahead and tell your Mom as they are quite common (the cysts) and are really nothing at all to be embarassed about :)  Good luck to you and let us know how things go!
