Vaginal problems

For almost the past year I've noticed changes in my lady region, Very strong harsh smelling urine. Especially when I first wake up. I drink plenty of water. And also I've noticed alot more discharge than I ever had. It varies in the texture sometimes its very thick and white like paste, then other times it has the consistency of like mucus. Its never been green or anything like that just white and sometimes a yellowish color. And it does have a wierd smell most of the time.

Hi VP, BV, sounds like you have BV, ( bacterial vaginosis) So off to the doctor get tested and he/she will get you on some antibiotics.
Now there is a natural way out of BV if you don't wont to stuff your body full of antibiotics, google bv and sea salt, its done by taken shallow baths twice a day for a week, you need to let the water get inside you, should cure you they say, but you can read all the information you want to read by just googling it.
Good Luck

Make sure that you drink plenty of water, 2-3 litres per day is usually recommended, more if you workout or sweat a lot.

Very bad smelling urine can be a sign of kidney problems.  It will smell of offal when really bad.  Also look at the colour.  If it is dark that can mean that you are not drinking enough water, or can be an indication of blood in the urine.  A cloudy urine can also indicate blood in the urine.

If you see your urine like that, it is best to get the urine checked out for any infections.

White discharge from the vagina can be a fungal infection, like Thrush.  You can purchase from pharmacist creams and pessaries for this.
Natural yogurt applied to the vaginal area can help too.

If the discharge is very fishy smelling and yellow this would indicate a bacterial vaginosis problem which is usually treated by antibiotics.

Do not use soap to wash down below.  This changes the PH levels down there.

See how you get on with the sea salt as mentioned in a previous reply.

Best wishes

Thanks for the advice, I don't have health insurance and I'm unemployed so the do it yourself route is basically my only option. I'll try that seasalt method you suggested. I read somewhere about Apple cider vinegar do you know anything about that method?

Does the urine smell kind of like acetone?  If you eat a lot of meat and almost no carbs, you can go into ketosis, where your liver starts producing ketones in order to keep your blood sugars up, and it will make your urine and sweat smell really bad.  Diabetics can also go into ketoacidosis, which is a much more extreme version, although if you haven't been peeing a huge amount, losing weight, and being really hungry and thirsty you're probably not in ketoacidosis.  Asparagus can make some people's urine smelly, but I doubt you've been eating that much asparagus.  There are probably lots of other potential causes of smelly urine, so you should get checked out by a doctor.

Increased water intake could be the reason for the extra discharge.  It's normal for the consistency and color to change throughout your cycle.  White or yellowish as well as clear are all ok colors for discharge.
