Vaginal swelling related to herpes?

Hi, there is something unusual i noticed about 5 days ago.....I had noticed the inside of my vagina had swelled up and it's been like that for almost a week. It does not hurt when i go pee or walk or anything but it is so swelled that i can barely even put a tampon in. When i feel inside, it feels like there are a ton of bumps like large bumps filled with fluid. Last year about this time I got diagnosed with HSV-2 but haven't had any outbreaks. Could that be a herpes outbreak or something worse? please help..i don't think its a cyst because it doesn't hurt, but i have no clue what it's caused from and if or when the swelling will go down. thanks.

if it were herpes, you would know it...they are very painful!  i would make an appt to see your gyn asap!  you could have an infection in a mucous gland (the glands that produce fluid to lubricate the vaginal lips), an std or any number of other infections.  please don't wait until it gets completely out of hand before you call for help!
