Very wierd garlic smell

Hey all. My boyfriend and I mess around and he fingers me, I can *** when I orgasm and normally don't smell strange at all. Tonight while messing around he was using two fingers in deep and afterward he wiped his face and almost threw up from the smell. It is very very garlicy. Now I've never smelled like this before. I do how ever suffer from bladder infection constantly, don't think I have one at the moment. After he made a face I asked and I smelled his fingers and the smell knocked me back so I reached down there and got some of my discharge and it smelled like his fingers, but I could wipe the smell from my finger. He can't get it off his. Any ideas as to what in the world is going on?
