I have been taking Yaz for about three years. I'm 52 and still going through menopause. I saw my doctor in May and because I'm anxious to end my periods, she told me to skip taking the four placebo pills for three months. I did that and then had a normal period. Now I am doing it again...skipping the placebos....and I noticed this morning a thick brown discharge and am starting to have some pretty severe cramping. Is this something I should be worried about? I skipped the last for placebos and am on my first week of the new pack.
