Blood tests are definitely a good way to rule out many common ailments with those symptoms. Hopefully you can make an appointment to see your doctor to talk through it.

I hope you are feeling better now. you should check out an ob gyn if there are pains. If you are in downtown LA maybe you can also check Dr Jacklin at 310.777.0388 She treats female and male disorders. I hope this helps.

Always good to see your doctor.  I wonder about thyroid issues.  I had similar symptoms when my thyroid was working slowly.  If you haven't had sex since December and it is now April, I'm less inclined to think of pregnancy, ectopic or otherwise ----  but either way, you do need to see your doctor to help determine what is going on dear.  Sorry you are feeling lousy.  By the way, when I had hypothyroidism, I had periods every 3 to 4 months.  Long cycles are very common with thyroid issues.  And then there are other symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, etc.  Good luck and let us know what your doctor says

Hello, I agree with the above poster, when other symptoms such as pain, weakness, etc, are accompanying the skipped period, it should be checked by a gyn.  It may be just a type of hormonal imbalance, but, then, it may indicate something more serious.

Good luck and God bless.

Our cycles can be thrown out of whack for several reasons. Stress and anxiety are at the top of the list. Hormone levels can change which will often affect our cycles. Some medications can also affect our cycles. You say you aren't pregnant, so that can be ruled out. And sometimes, for reasons I don't understand, our bodies can either skip a month or throw 2 periods at us in one month. (One period is usually much lighter) Having two periods in the same month then throws off the amount of lining in the uterus for the next months period and we end up standing around with a tampon in our hand wondering what the heck......

BUT............my concern here is the pain and weakness you are feeling, and if you have a fever you need to be seen IMMEDIATELY!
I am definitely NOT telling you this is what is happening, but an ectopic pregnancy needs to be ruled out ASAP.

Pain is our bodies way of telling us something is wrong and you must not ignore this!

Please see your GYN on an URGENT basis NOW.

Please let us know how you're doing!
