The earlier the ultrasound, the more accurate it is.  So if your first ultrasound was at 5.5 weeks pg and every u/s since then has agreed with the due date then I'd say you can be confident in that date.  A due date of November 4th, would put your last menstrual period starting on January 28th, and the conception date somewhere around February 11, 2006 (+/- about a week).  So it sounds to me like your boyfriend is the father.

1...2...3? Just a word of advice, you are going to get yourself into trouble by posting the same question 3 times.

i would ask your dr or dr's nurse these questions.  i'm sure they have much more knowledge in this area.  fyi:  there are limits to the number of threads that can be posted in any given day.  if you just add on to your orignial thread rather than starting three, more women will have the opportunity to post their questions, too.

The earlier the u/s the more accurate it is.  My first u/s was at 8 weeks.  But do you really know when your baby is going to be born?  Ive read that only 5% of women have their babies on their due dates.  Its just an estimated date and some babies come early and some come late.  37-42 weeks is when most babies are born.  When he or she is ready they will come out!

I don't know what type of answer you are searching for. This is your third post about this. Like it was said, your b/f is probably the daddy. But take a paternity test to be sure.

Good luck to you.

I just had my second ultrasound, it was awesome! the baby, the doctor thinks is a girl, mooned us and was putting her little hands between her legs and crossing her legs trying to keep her sex a secret... it was breathtaking moment..

First baby, right?

The ultrasound missed my daughter's due date by 4 weeks.  It also showed her at about 5lbs and she was nearly 8lbs.  This was 18 years ago but I still shudder when I think of all the garbage I went through while they stopped my "premature labor" then said "oops" when a very big, very red and wrinkled baby appeared.  :-(

Then again, this was on a really bad HMO that has since been run out of business.

I figured out with my second child not to sweat the due date too much and relax - he wasn't going to stay in there forever!  (Second ultrasound due date was only a week off)

good luck!
