Pregancy symtoms, but tests show negative

Hi,
I've been having symptoms of pregnancy but I've taken a at home pregnancy test and results were negative.  My symtoms are: sore back, nausea and vomiting (especially after eating), loss and gained appetite, very sore and tender breasts.  Not sure what to do because of the negative result.

Well you see I had my period on March the 8th but it was unusually very late.  It should have come on the 1st.

You didnt get pregnant before you started your period... Thats why we get periods is because the ovaries die because they were not fertilized by a certain time.
If you are doubting your HPT, you should go in and get a blood test taken. That will tell you for sure.
If you're not pregnant, maybe your mind is playing tricks on you. It occasionally happens.
Periods come late sometimes... It's the way our bodies sometimes react to sudden changes.

If you got af on March 8th and are getting neg HPT's, you didn't get pg that cycle. I get the feleing you were suspecting as much given the fact you mentioned it was late. Late periods can happen for many reasons.

Now, if you have been sexually active since March 8th, it is possible you may have gotten pg, but it is pretty early for any HPT to give a + result, also pretty early for nausea and vomitting to present. If you typically have a 28 day cycle, you would only be about 7 days out from when you ovulated. A blood test now may show positive, but it would be best to wait and take an HPT in a week or so.

Good luck!
