i am over joyed that i found this site! i had mirena put in on 10-15-09 and within the last 3 months its been killing me! i have NO sex drive at all an at 19 years old?? i know thats not right! i'm very moody, been gaining weight non stop no matter what i eat, ive been nauseated all this week and last, constant back pain, and the absolute worst part my stomach pains and abdominal pains hurt so bad. its worse than labor pains and i had no medicine during labor!! i've called every gyno and health department around an theyve all told me $300-$900 for removal and $300-$500 for the appointment because i currently have no insurance!!! i had insurance during and 6 weeks after pregnancy! i wish i could have seen this site before i got it put in. nobody told me i would have to endure severe pain. i'm going 3 HOURS away thursday to have a dr. remove it for $175. this pain has to be the worst i've ever had and i'm praying it's not an ectopic pregnancy!

I had Mirena for 2 years and just had it removed yesterday. I was told to expect bleeding, but i still haven't started yet... it seems like this varies from person to person - obviously we are all different. But can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for the bleeding to start?.... thanks!!

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience with you. I had my IUD removed (Nova T, with no hormones) and a month later my period was not coming. My period was always very regular. After a few days I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I took another one a few days later (but in the morning) and still negative. I felt more tired and a bit of nausea, but no breast tenderness. This morning I took the test again, 10 days after my period was due, but this time it was positive! I will do a blood test just to make sure. Good luck to all of you!

They took my IUD out March 7, 2011 and got my period full force 3 days later. Had sexually intercourse def at the times of ovulations. April came and no period, but it wa two weeks late, got it twince in once month. Tried to TC again the following month and for some reason none of the ovulation letst show that I am ovulatiing in ANY given month at ALL! Very frustrating! We are now on month 4 and I am late again but pregnancy test negative. My calculated ovulation or most fertile was May 28-to like June 2 or so. I'm suppose to get my period on the 13th and I haven't. I took a test and still negative. My period is JUST not the same. I can't read all the post but was wondering if anyone had or has the same problem as me.
