provera

My doctor prescribed me with 20mg of provera for 5 days to induce a period. Before prescribing me with this I had a false positive pregnancy test (blood test). I have now started very heavy bleeding on the 6th day after taking the pills. I have also been prescribed clomid and am supposed to begin on the 3rd day of bleeding.

Is that normal to bleed the day after taking the pills as I was told 3 - 5 days later to expect a period? Could I actually be pregnant or miscarrying?

if you had a false positive pregnancy test why did your doctor not advise you wait afew days?

with regards to provera your period is supposed to start anywhere between the first day of finishing up to 2 weeks.

im my case i have been on provera twice and have had no periods at all.

if i were you i would go back and see your GP if your concerned. take care hope everything will be ok
