I was recently diagnosed with vaginal/rectal shingles as well as Epstein Barr Virus infection--- all in the perirectal area and very, very uncomfortable. Still having neuralgia. Was treated with Famvir TID for 1 week. Now am having severe fatigue, headaches, and low-grade temp. Do you think that I am responding to the E-B virus now? I've missed a week of work and tried to return to work yesterday and had to come home early due to the pain and severe fatigue. Any suggestions as to what will help me get back to normal?
