If you have tried laxitives and your stools are still hard you should see a dr. Sounds like you have anal fissures, small cuts from hard stools. You need to keep your stools really soft for a while so they can heal. Get plenty of fiber and drink TONS of fluids. Water and prune juice are the best. My dr told me to also use a little A&D ointment after. Sonce this has been a few weeks, you should probably get in to see your dr also. Good luck.
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM A FEW MONTHS BACK AND I COULDN'T GO RIGHT TO THE DOCTOR EITHER. IT LASTED FOR A FEW WEEKS AND I PUT SOME VASELINE ON IT (AS GROSS AS THAT SOUNDS) TO KIND OF PROTECT IT, AND NOT ONLY DID IT EASE THE PAIN, IT ALSO CLEARED UP WITH IN A FEW DAYS. I HOPE U FEEL BETTER.
you might have hemoroids. They feel like that. You can have them inside of you and not even know it for a while. I have them and they are internal. Eat a lot of fiber. I like cracklin oat bran. Laxitives arn't good to take a lot. I know it's strange to tell a doc that your butt hurts, but remember.... that's what he get's paid for. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all.
Tomsbaby - is nice of you to say your sorry. I get a kick out of the odd questions though. It's your choice if you want to click on them or not.
if you are passing hard stool i would definitely recomend a healthy diet, lots of water and excercise
also i find if i eat an orange in the morning i rush to the toilet.. i guess due to its acidy or someting... but maybe eat a bowl of fruit in the mornin
