rashlike bumps on penis foreskin and head

DG1
Hello, I have a question that I hope you can help me with. Recently my wife and I have had sex( and there has been NO other partners) and the next day I awoke(happened on 2 seperated occasions within last month) with a small cluster of rashlike bumps on the head of my penis(first occurance), the second occurance it affected the foreskin area. These cluster of small bumps seems to be a little red, irritated, and a little itchy. The first occurance the rash lasted for a couple of days then subsided only to leave a few remaining scars where the bumps where, I assumed because it happened on the head of my penis and the skin is so sensitive to be the reason for the scars. I am currently expieriencing the second installation of my second happening believed to be cause by intercourse with my wife 2 days ago. These rashlike bumps seem to have a dimple in the center of them and have no drainage, dont affect my urination(i.e.burning, pain), or dont seem to spread, I wake up in the morning and there they are.  After the first expirience I seen the doctor for an explaination and the only thing he could think of is syphyllus but I the test was negative. I truly DONT believe it to be any form of STD due to fact that I have been with my wife for 12yrs and have been faithfull and assume that my wife has also been faithfull. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN HELP DIAGNOSE MY SITUATION.

Good day Doc, I just had a few questions regarding my situation(rashlike bumps on penis). The diagnosis of Mollescum is what I suspected it to be, but is this something that comes and goes depending on the bacteria present? Another queston I have is why did this start happening to me out of the blue? And is this something that I'm gonna have to deal with this for the rest of my life? One thing I noticed on both occasions is that once these bumps appear they last for a couple days and then they break pressumably due to the fricton created by my underwear and hardly nothing comes out, but a small scab forms for a few days and goes away. I am hopefull that this is not something that I have to deal with in the future, and I am really hopeful that with it being viral and by you saying that it can be transmitted that it does not carry over to my wife. If you can please respond with just a little more info to help ease my worries of this unwanted condition. Again, thank you for your time and help.

Hello,
From the symptoms it sounds like molluscum contagiosum. They are multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug. Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, self limiting viral infection of the skin. In adults, molluscum infections are often transmitted by touch or sexually transmitted and can transmit from one site to other skin sites by autoinoculation. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Warm regards.
