Thank you ladies!
Much needed advice :)
You prob won't want to even if you have no stitched. Pain from breastfeeding and you can be bleeding still.
ask ur doctor of course and then u will know, everybody is different just take it easy, u have to get enough rest to b there for ur baby first than anything ;)
Depends on your delivery as well and whether or not you have any stitches etc. I started walking regularly after 2 or 3 weeks (can't remember exactly) with my first and I had a csection. Worked wonders for helping recovery as long as I didn't push too hard. Listen to your body it's just gone through a lot!
Normally it is suggested that you wait until after your 6 week check up. I think it depends on your level of fitness and whether or not you exercised regularly through your pregnancy. Gentle walking should be ok, not sure about running though. I was wondering this myself. I'm due today (still no baby) and I'm super keen for baby to come so I can start running again! I can't believe how much I've missed it
Get the ok from your doctor. Better safe than sorry.
