Yep, every pregnancy bad for me. Make sure you're taking vitamin C with the iron, it needs it to absorb it properly
Yes and even before my pregnancy just take iron pills
Be cautious with what you take as iron as inorganic (in other words iron that's created and synthethised in a lab) can cause toxic stores. Because iron doesn't come out of our systems but is used up or stored and with inorganic iron not 100% of it can be used by our bodies it becomes a store that over time can become toxic. There's a bunch of research out there on it.
I've been anemic for 14 years. Watch out when taking supplements as they can make you very nauseous and constipated. Stool softeners are allowed and I used to take the pills before bed and definitely on a full stomach.
I'm 29wks my dr just called today to let me know im anemic. They found it when they drew my blood for glucose test. I'm going to get iron supplement per my dr orders but i really hope i dont get constipated. Good luck
I used to take pills for anemia now i do not since i found out im pregnant....my obgyn has not asked me anything...i want to take something because i know my fatigue is from the absense of enough iron in my body.
