PCOS - No period for 6 months

Hey guys good morning,

My wife has been suffering from PCOS since we have met, which is round 11 years now.  However lately her period is really off - she hasn't had her period for 6 months now.  I talk to her about it but she gets frustrated about it and I do understand that.  Is this normal in a way?

Thanks for your help.  I'm trying to be a better husband for her during these times so you help would be great.
