some body suggested for Acupuncture can improve dullness etc in this eye
kindly suggest what should I do
thanks for reply but still there is very very small light in eye it is not looking that there is a detachment in eye only I know how i can keep this detached eye healthy/beautiful
Sorry Timmy1 but if your retina was detached at birth and that eye has bad vision it is highly unlikely that putting the retina back in place would improve your vision.
Obviously the most important thing is keeping your other eye healthy. That means annual exams by an Eye MD physician (ophthalmologist), avoiding activities with high chance of eye injury, wearing eye protection for things like mowing yard, power tools, firearms, firecrackers, racquet sports, etc. Also don't smoke, exercise, watch your diet and weight.

there was a retina detachment in one eye at the time of birth now i am 28 girl
what should i do to look better or any improvement can be done
Your vision can keep improving for months after RD surgery even with the macual on so don't panic. 20/40 after and RD with vitreectomy at 11 weeks if quite good so far. Your cataract may well progress but you don't want to consider surgery until the vision is much more blurred and removing it will not help the astigmatism. Uncorrectable astigmatism is not a complication of your surgery. Be patient and keep your followup appointments. It sounds like you are receiving excellent care
