Yeast Overgrowth and diabetes?

I know this is very random, but I have had some mysterious health problems and I’m not for sure on what’s causing them. I’ve had symptoms that lead to believe it something is up with my blood sugar. Random fruity taste and hot flashes and shaking, very mild things and are not frequent. However, I have been dealing with tinea versicolor, white tongue, thick and white vaginal discharge, and flaky scalp. I was wondering if I should look into things regarding my blood sugar. It runs in my family, but I’m a very active 20 year old female, and I again am not experiencing any debilitating symptoms. I’m just concerned about having a yeast overgrowth and what could cause that. Thank you!

High blood sugar is long known to be associated with yeast overgrowth. That does not necessarily mean diabetes but could.  https://www.healthline.com/health/diabetes/diabetes-and-yeast-infections.  Do you get an annual physical? If you haven't had one in awhile, it would be a great idea to schedule one. One that also includes blood work to check your blood work. This link has some ideas of things you can do for chronic yeast overgrowth. https://www.healthline.com/health/chronic-yeast-infection#oral-thrush
