I think 26 was a typo. The OP's title says 35/36, my guess is she meant 36 in the body of the post.
So, I had my kids in my late thirties! My husband is two years older than me. Many women are indeed waiting to conceive until later because of career or life things (like wanting to travel!). There is no judgement in this choice. There is some evidence that advanced paternal age (as well as maternal advanced age which is deemed to be 35 years or older) can impact some things. There are studies that show that babies born to fathers over forty have a six higher rate of autism. I do have a son that is neuro diverse. Healthy, but has sensory issues. Is this because my husband was over 40 when I conceived? Who knows. He's a great kid. My other is not neurodiverse and he is my younger son. So, live life. And you are very young at 26 to have six.
26 is not late at all. Don't know where this stigma came from. Was 36 when I conceived, gave birth to a healthy baby girl in august, at 37.
