Hi is it possible thst 2 oraquik tapid could be wrong 8 years after a risky exposur

I had unprotected sex with an ex not knowing his status i did. 2 rapid swab tests that are negative can i be confident in the results so many years later

That's a super long time to carry worry. Eight years? Two oraquick tests if you followed the instructions and rendered a negative would be reliable.  It wasn't an unknown person, but your ex. You'd likely have heard if they were hiv positive. Ya know? Let the incident go and move on.

I spoke to him he says he s negative but I don t know for sure. can t tell by looking at someone  ,  we dated from 8 to 10 years ago  but i always had this worry cos we never asked on each others status stupid really
As stated, you took two oraquick tests that confirm negative. Time to let it go. For good. Or get help with anxiety that doesn't let you be logical about it

There are no doctors here; however, HIV prevention and testing is straightforward. It is a well-known and well-established fact that ANY test taken at least 90 days after a risk event is conclusive. It is long, LONG past time to move on from fear of HIV from this old relationship.
I just want to know if a person had contracted hiv how long woukd it take to show symthoms or start feeling ill .
