Is my 4th gen test accurate 5 weeks after vaginal intercourse?

Hello,
I had brief (5-8 minutes) unprotected vaginal sex with a woman whose status is unknown. 5 weeks later I took a 4th gen lab test(cmia) and my Results came back negative. The day after the test I began to have a sore throat that comes and goes and I now feel a sore beginning to form on the inside of my lip. I was wondering, are my test results accurate or conclusive? I read that cdc says 45 days is conclusive. Should I retest at 45 days or is this overdoing it ?
Thank you

A 4 gen is conclusive after 4 weeks. We rely on the opinion of expert doctors. CDC uses outdated conservative guidelines. You will not find consensus on when to test but everyone on this forum knows you are conclusively neg.
