Anxiety through the roof

Helloo Dr
About 11 days ago I went to a massage parlor. I’ve visited the same masseuse maybe 5 times in the past 6 months because I figured she was clean and never had a problem before. I recieved protect oral protected intercourse and an unprotected rim job. The day of I shaved so I had a small cut around my anal area. She performed the rim job with no visible sores on her mouth for about 10 min. 4 days later I started to feel something heavy by my anal area so i immediately started to panic. Started to feel a tingling sensation all over my genital area. Later on throughout the night I felt something crawling up my anus. Now 10 days later I still feel the same symptoms along with left testicle pain. I know Dr H and Dr Clark said in their 30 years in the business they have never seen a case where someone has recieved a std or herpes from a rim job. I hope I am not one of those rare cases I read you guys posts and I have peace of mind but than I go to Dr Google and my anxiety triggers because all the symptoms they say comes with herpes I am having. I been checking for sores and legions every single day it’s day 10 Now and I figured I was in the clear but just seen a small white patch on the end of my penis shaft by my public area I inspect the area every 30 min. Do I need to go get tested also I wanted to ask am I able to sleep with my partner or should I get tested first I thought I wouldn’t be able to catch anything from a rim job please let me know

I'm a little surprised to see that you say that HHH and Hook say they haven't seen a case of herpes from a rim job. The anus is a mucous membrane, and you can get herpes from contact that way.

In any case, that doesn't seem to be the case here. Heaviness isn't a symptom of herpes, nor is a white patch or testicular pain.

Have you seen a doctor? You should.

It's not common to get other STIs from rimming, but that doesn't mean something isn't happening. Testicular pain should always be checked out. It's been 11 days since the encounter, and 7 days since symptoms started. Go see a doctor already.

“The risk from the exposures you describe is essentially zero.  Your oral sex was condom protected and therefore no risk.  The anal contact is not associated with risk either. I would not worry that your partner ha oral syphilis. Oral syphilis is quite rare and when it occurs, occurs almost exclusively among men who have sex with other men, not n heterosexuals, even those who are commercial sex workers.

Testing for routine STDs now, or at any time in the future will confirm what I've just told you- you are not at risk for STD from the exposures you describe. EWH” those were Clark’s exact words when someone asked if he can get herpes or syphilis. “Testing for routine STDs” basically isn’t needed.
I just made an appt I’m going now but I just had this nerve pain to all around my body and now I feel like it’s stuck in my anus. I’m reading on Google they are saying that’s hsv1 genital about to cause an outbreak I hope not idk what to do right now anything else it can be besides hsv1 genital in your opinion
I agree totally with the syphilis part. Syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries - the US, the UK, Canada, etc., and oral syphilis is even less common. I wouldn't worry about syphilis at all.

Take a big deep breath, okay?

Herpes doesn't cause nerve pain all around your body. It can't. That's anxiety. Herpes infects nerve groups, and genital herpes infects the sacral ganglia. That would only give you symptoms from the waist down, most commonly in the boxer short area. The nerves stop at the waist, and aren't connected to anything above it. It cannot give you pain, tingling, creepy crawlies, anything at all, above the waist.

It's also really possible that you already have hsv1 and don't know it. 67% of people under 50 globally have hsv1 and the vast majority don't know it because they don't get symptoms. If you have it already, you can't get it again. A sex worker isn't at any higher risk for oral hsv1 than anyone else.

I don't know how old you are, but if you are old enough to go see a sex worker, you most certainly have kissed someone with it - a parent, grandparent, romantic partner.

So see your doctor. It will make you feel better. Something may be going on. It doesn't sound at all like herpes.

So keep breathing, distract yourself, keep busy, and whatever it is, you'll be okay. :)
We know that people can acquire HSV genitally from receiving oral sex - that is almost 100% HSV 1.  HSV 1 can be transmitted to a sex partner through receiving oral sex even when a lesion is not present on the mouth.  So whether this is also possible from receiving a rim job is unclear.  You aren't describing lesions which one would expect if you had acquired HSV.  And those should have shown up within 10 days of the contact.  You may wish to have the white area you are describing evaluated by a clinician in person.
Have you ever had cold sores in your lifetime?  If the answer is yes, then it would be extremely unlikely for you to acquire this same virus in a new location on your body.
Someone on another site just told me this. No I have never had hsv1 I got tested a month ago
What site was that on?

Did you get that previous response from Hook yourself, or is that a response to someone else?

The thing about hsv1 testing is that it sucks. I assume you had a blood test? It misses 30% of infections. You may have tested negative, but there's a 30% chance it missed your infection, if you have one.

What I can say is that you have quoted HHH and Hook, posted on another site, and here. You have all over body tingling/nerve pain. This is anxiety.

I'm not saying you don't have something going on. I'm saying that if you do, it's not likely to be herpes, AND you have anxiety. You should also talk to your doctor about that. Don't discount it. Anxiety gives you very real physical symptoms.
