Rash/Pimple on back neck

I have seen quite a few doctors  (dermatologist), whom either subscribed me Anti-biotic which did a number on my stomach or game me some god forsaken liquid, which I had to wear some protective gloves and wash away any spills as quickly as possible. Some friends told me use corn starch or apply Isopropyl to dry the area.
It is still there and just won't go away, it looks like pimples or zits and flares up from time to time. they cover the back of my neck.

Help anyone....

Hi,

If this occurs usually during a haircut wherein a razor was used then this may have contributed to the rash or pimples. Do check on folliculitis. If the razor used is blunt it may have caused small cuts on the skin which may allow entry of organisms.

Keep us posted regarding your physician's advice.

Hello and thanks for your kind response!!!

I am not sure what the symptoms you stated which I will try to find out but in regards to your condistion, the antibiotics did not really help much, recurring, absolutely. The lady who cuts my hair tells me it is because of the razor, another one told me it is a simple heat stroke of some sort, so as you can see I am rather confused!!

But I will check on Foliculitis, Carbuncle or C D

Hi,

Do these lesions involve the hair or scalp? This may be a case of  folliculitis, carbuncle, or contact dermatitis.

Did the condition resolve with the antibiotics?

Has this been recurring from time to time?
