Face Redness

I have now had redness on my face for over 10 years, Some days worse than others. I have been to over 7 different
Dermatologist all with no prevail. Does any one know the cure for Red Faces? This would save my life.

Did you ever figure out the cause of your Red Face?  I am experiencing the same symptoms and Dermatologist can't figure it out.

Hi,

If you have any history of allergies, allergic rhinitis and asthma ,then it is necessary to have your self evaluated by an allergologist.

Any familiy members with a similar skin condition?

There may be underlying genetic and immune mechanisms involved here similar to most allergy related skin conditions.

It is best to have this evaluated further. Some individuals may be considered atopic or just hypersensitive than others.If this is not rosacea ,then an underlying cause has to be considered.

Has photosensitivity been ruled out?

They had once thought it was Rosesha but the medicine and creams did not help.

My skin is very dry and itchy , really itchy some days more than others. I have not been allergy tested . So that my last hope,

Has this been present for a long time?

Do you have any known allergies?

One common differential for a red face is rosacea?

Have they discussed this with you?

Face redness may be due to flushing of the face. Facial flushing is due to dilation of blood vessels in the face.The redness is caused by the increased blood "rush" to the area. Facial flushing may be due to intake of alcohol, certain medications, allergic reactions, exposure to direct heat, acne and rosacea.Do any of these apply to you?

Do you have any pimples or acne?
