Worried please Help!!

I had unprotected sex twice on the same night with a female on january 6th of this year.. Because of this, I got Gonorrhea, for which I was treated with right away.. About a week and a half ago I got a cold with flu like symptoms, mostly coughing though.. I went to the doctors and he gave me azithcromyn for a throat infection.. Well its been around 10 days and my throat still bothering me. Its gotten a lil better, but I still have soreness, like a burning sensation and when I talk I feel like I have to cough. Are these symptoms of ars?? What worries me is that I did ejaculate in her the second time and I heard that being uncircumcised, which i am, makes the risk of tranmission of hiv a lot higher.. I dont have any other of the symptoms that i've read about.. Imma make an appoitment to get hiv tested.. What are the odds that I could've contracted hiv?? Assuming she has Hiv, what would the odds be based on my situation.. Please help..

Yeah once the thought is in your mind its hard to get rid of. Hopefully once you get the test result you feel better. If I were you I would go take the test and get your result today.

I wouldnt be concerned with the cold. The common cold is very common, hence the name. Dont worry anymore, just go get a quick rapid test and be done with it, you will be negative.

Thanks for the reply worried.. This was the second time I've ever had unprotected sex and the last time man.. What does worry me is that around 10 days after my experience, I was driving up north and had the Air conditioning on and I got a cold.. I read that symptoms of beginning hiv are usually between 2 weeks and 4 weeks right?? This does concern me since this sore throat is taking forever to go away..

Yes those odds are assuming she indeed did have HIV, which she more than likely didnt. HIV is a very rare disease and is hard to transmit also. Some people have had lots of unprotected sex with a confirmed HIV+ partner and still didnt catch the virus.

ECN said it all pretty much, the chance is very low.

If it makes you feel better you should know Ive had unprotected sex with so many girls I lost count a long time ago. I have been lucky enough to not test positive but im done taking my chances from now on.

Any so called symptoms are meaningless, especially since you are so far out of the window. Go ahead and run down to the clinic and get a quick rapid test and you will know whats up within 30 minutes.

Stay safe man.

Well unprotecetd sex does place you at risk of contracting Hiv, the stimated risk per act by the cdc for vaginal insertive sex is 1/2000 since you did it twice it would be 2/2000 probably even a little higher since she got gonorrea and transmited it to you, a test is warranted, you are way out of the window period, so if you test negative right know it would be conclusive and no more test needed, the odds are in your favor.

good luck
