Hello,
Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. Some of the creams containing these ingredients are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.

Treatment of scabies is specific and consists of topical medicines like permethrin, malathion, lindane and tea tree oil and oral medicine like ivermectin. It is highly contagious and although none of your family members are showing any symptoms now,yet they may require the treatment. So I would advise an evaluation by a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it can be scabies or fungal infections.

Scabies is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
Diagnosis can be confirmed only after clinical examination.I feel that a dermatologist would be the best person to evaluate that.
I hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
