lol I think they are precious at that age too, but my goodness I don't know that I would go back to those days. It's a whole lotta work! On that note, keep up the good work Shannon.
I always remind my kids of teaching them how to eat, how to dress, and wiping their butts every time they try to complain about what they have to do for me. I say, "You think this is bad, wait until I am in diapers again, then I will deal with your complaints." I miss my little kids, though I will be happy when they fly away too. What a journey.
Lol weaver. I've done something similar to that with my 8 year old. Usually makes them stop complaining. I do like this stage, but then there's a part of me that wishes they were older so they could be left by themselves. Even if it's only for a few hours. Parenthood is definitely a journey. Never an easy one either
