Everyone remembers Toby. He was such a character! I found out that in Celtic legend, a white dog "Guards the Gates of Faerie" (And a black dog, the Gates of the Underworld) I did another painting of Toby with me sitting in an orchard. Lens flare would look bad on that one, so I'd need to take a pic of it carefully and in daylight. Might do that soon...
I really love this painting, Ginger. It looks so ethereal. You're very talented with light and depth. I read your tribute to Toby on the new Pet Grief Support forum and I was completely in tears for your loss. I love that Judy started that forum; was very excited about it, but every time I get near it and start to read I turn into a wreck so haven't been able to share about our kitty who died or even neighbors dog, Buster who just passed. I want to, but that forum makes me a puddle.
