If you can Renae I would bring a blanket or something clean with you to the hospital and put it with jack and then bring it home for your kitty's to smell. This way they are familiar with baby Jack's scent. It will be easier for the cats to adjust to baby Jack
yes hes a good baby, hes very content and sleeps well and feeds well, hes on 100% breast milk now, but while im not there they feed it to him in a bottle, but he stills latches on great. im so in love, tonight i went into the care by parent room and layed down with him on my bare chest. he just layed there and slept, its nice in the care by parent room there is a TV , phone, fridge, microwave, bed, chair and sink, and i have the room from tomorrow til Tuesday so tomorrow morning im going to go up there with some groceries and stay the night, i just got home, my dog ripped everything apart in the house, im so sore, my cath bag is full of blood. I already miss jack i cant wait til he comes home, i asked Jacks Ped to come and see me yesterday morning when he saw Jack and he didnt so i asked again this morning and he didnt again, i just got updates from the nurses. He went down on his morphine yesterday then he went down again today and it looks like he will go down again tomorrow his Finnegan score is only 3 and when he was born it was 19 , it needs to stay under 8 in order for his morphine to go down, hes doing well.
He is adorable Renae! I hope he continues to do well. I hope you can heal soon too. I'm glad that you get to stay in the parent care room with him, that will definitely help with the breast feeding and of course bonding with your boy. :)
He is very cute Renae, what a huge relief that he is doing better. That's great u can stay there too as that would put your mind at rest. Enjoy your time with him. Get that catheter looked at, not sure if all that blood is normal. Take care of yourself : )
