Don’t Ignore Your Eyes

Don’t Ignore Your Eyes

From eReaders and portable DVD players to old-fashioned books and magazines, entertainment in close quarters can take its toll on your eyes. You don't have to cut out your favorite excursion diversion, but make sure you take a break and rest your eyes. Remember the 20/20/20 advice: Every 20 minutes, spend 20 seconds looking at a fixed object that's about 20 feet away. If you're traveling overnight by plane, train or bus, use the overhead light to keep from straining your eyes.
