Lose the Shoes

Lose the Shoes

Thanks to heightened security, air travelers are getting used to being barefoot, even if only for a few minutes. Try kicking off your kicks when you’re seated on the plane, too. The pressure changes on long flights can cause swelling in the ankles and feet, and freeing them from constricting shoes will significantly improve blood flow and comfort. If you can't bring yourself to take off your shoes, just untie or unbuckle them.
