ADHD meds?

Hi everyone, I was wondering is it okay to take ADHD medication while pregnant? I know I should ask a doctor but I wanted to check online first..

I've heard yes, but researched far and wide when i got pregnant with my son and so many hundreds of women continue throughout their pregnancy. The best advice i came across was only take it ONLY if you need it need it, significantly lower the dosage. Eat a full healthy meal and the baby should gain enough weight that it needs.

I was on meds for it and my obgyn told me to stop them immediately. I also have to go for a more in depth scan to make sure they had no effect on the baby when I hit the 18 week mark. My advice is stop taking them until your doc says otherwise.
