Concerta question--answer fast!

I took 108 mgs of the ADD pill concerta. (2, 54mg pills) I woke with an irregular heartbeat, and it seemed like it was pounding.  I also felt weak and light headed. How long will this last?? Thanks

Vyvanse is just another amphetamine. All speed, or speed-like products, will produce the symptoms you had, if taken in overdose. If you have that reaction with a normal dose, then you probably do not have ADD.

Thanks for your concern its been 2 days since I've taken them, I will never do that again. My heart is still beating a little harder than normal, other than that I don't have anymore discomforts.  does anyone know if the similar drug, vyvanse has less side effects?

there is a high risk for a heart problem with this drug and other drugs and there is also a risk of having a stroke when taken it and also Seizures.

get your self to the hospital and ask how you stop taken it.

try taken Vitamin B6 and B12 and Omega 3-6-9 and Vitamin C along with A Multivitamin every day.These don't have all the bad side effects.

And I beat your doctor didn't test you for other things before giving you this drug.The doctor should have .

I don't know I'm sure it will go away but id go to the hospitable anyhow there is a slight issue with death associated with stimulates like that with the heart. Its prob. wore off by now and I hope u feel better and dont risk your life again. PLEASE!

No, it's mine i just didn't feel like it was working, so i took 2 pills.  BIG mistake. My heart is still acting up. It's been about 22 hours...what should i do to make it stop?

Do you realize you took about double the maximum adult dose? What were you thinking? Did you buy this on the street?

  Depends when you took the meds.  54mg pills are an extended release version.  Probably good for 10 to 12 hours.

  More important question is why you took it.  If you don't have ADHD, the stuff can be very habit forming and even deadly.
