I wouldn't give her any other medicine. The side effects to the medicines are not worth it.And you may have more to deal with than the adhd.

I know first hand.and wish I had never put my son on any medicine,My son was on adderall  and them concerta. and when I found out he was having Seizures I took him off the concerta.and now we are dealing with seizures every day and the medicines are not working.so last week he had a surgery and time will tell if that is going to work.

he cant learn he acts like 4 to 5 years old and not a child who will be 11 this year.and now I worry he may have a short life or have to live with family if something where to happen to me or my husband.

anyone who is dealing with child who they thing may have adhd should have an egg done first.
because children who they think is not learning or staring off and who you think cant hear you may be having seizures .if you notice that they are sleepy and not getting a good night sleep .is also a sing.

best of luck.

my 7 yr old has been on the metadate CD for 2 yrs now and I am pleased with it. It is
a very good medicine. She had tried the adderall, but it didnt work for her. so she was
put back on the metadate.
