Tired on Vyvanse 30 mg

I'm on 30 mg of Vyvanse by 4 pm or so I am EXTEREMLY tired. Should I take 2 instead of 1?

    Jenny, there is a very good chance that you are over dosing yourself.  The last thing you want to do is to take more vyvanse if that is the case.  Vyvanse is usually only taken once per day as it lasts 8 to 12 hours.  Call your doctor immediately and find out what is going on.  And double check your dosing directions!
    With some other types of stim meds these dosing methods would make sense, but not vyvanse.

Generally speaking you should not change the dose of prescribed medication without checking in with your doctor first. I'm not sure how long you've been on the medication but many require a few weeks for your body to adjust and feel normal again. Another thing you could do is talk to the pharmacist, ask if feeling this tired is considered normal. S/he won't be able to switch your dose or med but they can let you know if you have a problem and need to talk to your doctor ASAP.
