joke for you...

My son ( who is ADHD) just told me this joke...I hope all of you with a sense of humour like it. It helps if you have a sense of what ADHD is, and what the symptoms are.

An ADHD man and his ADD wife go out for dinner. They sit down and enjoy a lovely meal. They talk quietly, they eat, they leave. None of the other patrons even looked their way.

This "joke" was told to him by his "normal" friend. Normally I would take offence, but at least this "joke" helps "normals" to understand what we are about. Right?

No offence to "normals"...you can't help being who you are.

Ya, the last line - "They talk quietly, they eat, they leave. None of the other patrons even looked their way."  It's never going to happen.  (well, it could, but I don't think with my friends)
You definitely have to look at it in a different way, but that's what makes people with ADHD special.
