what should i do about my 3 yr son?

Hi my son is 3 yrs old will be 4 in july. He was always alittle hyper, and he is always happy. The past few months just have been getting worse with his behavior. He is always running around and doesnt listen when myself or his father tell him to stop running and to sit. He throws temper tantrums when we tell him to stop or if we put him in time out. We've tried everything, taking his favorite toys away when he doesnt listen, not letting him watch his favorite shows and nothing works. I also have an 11 month old who he sometimes knocks over for no reason. I'm not sure if i should take him to his dr or not. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

It could be a stage he is going through.  A lot of three year old don't listen.  I would keep monitoring it.  Just keep reinforcing positive behaviour and see if that helps.  Try to ignore negative behavioirs if at all possible, some children thrive on even negative attn.

let me ask you,how well does he sleep and now is he around other people?

I wouldn't put him on drugs to help him.The side effects are not worth it.It will change him and the drugs are like speed to these young children.

pray a lot and try giving him Vitamin B6 and Omega 3-6-9.and try talking to him to see why he is acting out and to see if he knows what he is doing and if he can hear you when you talk to him.  It could be something to do with his brain and if any thing the Doctors should check his blood levels and then do a MRI and a EEG.
