A letter to YOU...

I was just thinking while reading someone elses post about how I found MH and Why I decided to stick around... I was googling some numbers on a pill and lo and behold their was MH at the top of the list... I clicked on it, started reading some posts, and I recognized myself in so many of them I said NOW is time for a change! That was 108 days ago and im now 104 days FREE! I took so much and still do from all of you that opened your hearts to me and have me the strength to dive into recovery that I decided I would pay it forward. idk if anything I say helps anyone but I do log in EVERYDAY and try to give back! I have found some of the absolute BEST FRIENDS in the world here and it always amazes me how everyone unites to help a fellow MH'er in need! Many of us will never meet face to face but the bond of love and friendship isnt any less real! I am here for any of you... You are not alone in this battle and when you cant find the strength to fight the devil I will kick him in the throat for you... I tell my friends in the very beginning of our conversations.. IDC WHAT TIME IT IS... IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT USING...CALL ME & AT LEAST GIVE ME THE CHANCE TO TALK U OUT OF IT! And its the same for me.. I have sworn to pick up the phone before anything enters my mouth... I have learned that addiction isnt picky! addiction doesnt care where you come from, the career you have, how rich/poor you are! Addicts come from ALL walks of life! We addicts are a beautiful, caring, loving bunch and I am PROUD to know each of you!
To those of you who haven't taken the plunge,
NOBODY WILL TELL YOU ITS EASY but EVERYONE WILL TELL YOU ITS WORTH IT!
We are all in this together and their is NO SHAME in reaching out and asking for help!
Well, I've rambled enough.. I just want you guys to KNOW that you have made a difference!

Hi Girl..I just seen this. You know, that I know, you where going to be one of the successful ones and that you would be one that stuck around. I got hooked on you from the first day and we changed your name to fit you. I still come up with other ones for you! LMAO!
The strange thing is that many years ago I was looking up something about Methadone and found this site. I did not find the Community's just the pill info. Then when I had already almost 3 months in I thought I would check it out. I found the Community's and have been here since. I have seen many old timers on here come in and out..I have seen new ones come and go.
I just felt in my Heart that you would be one who would not go..We might back off a bit as we get more time in and live our lives, but I will always check in or out until death due me part or until I just can not do this anymore..I WUV U my dear Friend..I am Blessed to know you..
