**Lets Talk Politics**

Ok, is it just me or is McCain growing Bush Horns and Obama floundering, flip flopping.....I haven't been really keeping up, but something is going on.  Is Obama really starting to show his lack of experience.  He is starting to morph into a teenage like......I don't know......I am getting really worried now.

Does anyone see something funky going on now that we have the candidates?????

The Candidates:  The pit bull (McCain) vs. Young good looking school boy (Obama)

Any thoughts?

I am not wild about McCain, but Obama is flip flopping already and is showing that he will govern by what the polls dictate, not what he believes in. It is a no win situation, but I am not convinced that if it looks like Obama is going to win that there won’t be some type of scandal in the 11th hour that will ruin his chances. If McCain is voted in then other Dems will have a chance in four years.

Like I have said before, I want a do over. I think that all of the primaries should be on the same day, many of the good candidates did poorly in the opening rounds and instead of supporters really supporting the person they wanted, they jumped on the band wagon of the one(s) that were doing the best.

I am sorry to all of the Democrats. I have never been Democrat, but McCain scares the bageebees out of me. I am not sure if he'd make it through 4 years!

Just because Bush....Opps.....I mean McCain, is a Vietnam vet and was an injured POW does not immediately make him a good choice for Pres. I do have the utmost respect for the fact that he served his country and what he went thru.  Many years in politics and serving in the military does not guarantee a good president. I know many Vietnam Vets that didn't go thru the horror that Mccain did, but they still have deep seated issues. I'm sure McCain does too. Setting aside his political belief's for just a second, he is just to old and is definitely showing alot of signs of having senior moments. Think of all the people you know his age, would you make them president? I don't care who you are, or how sharp you may seem, at 71, your mental capacity is just not what it use to be.
Now take a look at how all the potential nominees ran or are running their campaign's. Perhaps an indication of how they will run the country. Hillary ran herself into deep debt. McCain is unorganized and unprepared for the inevitable. Obama is stream-lined, organized and thinking ahead.
McCain can't seem to remember things and seems to have a problem answering questions that are posed to him.  His thought process is slow and that of an old mans, bless his heart. He has surrounded himself with a bad choice of people, who are out of touch with the general public... not a good sign. Unless we are all whinners and mental cases. Now he's brought in Bushes campaign people...another bad sign.
Obama may not have the years of experience in the political arena that McCain does, and this may be a good thing. To many years in DC has tainted most. Obama is thinking about the people. And he has not been flip flopping, he is doing everything he said he would do. And those that have listened to him and are paying attention, would know this.
Obama offers this country hope. He's not a miracle worker, it will take time and alot of work. But I have confidence he will surround himself with the right people (including Hillary) and get the job done. He will bring back the pride and respect for America from the rest of the world and from it's own citizens. I would like to be proud of my President again.
If you're happy with the way Bush has run the country, vote for McCain. They are one in the same.
If you want things to change for the better, vote for Obama. At least there's a chance with him.

I agree with you..Although this is really seeming like a no win situation, like you said. What are you gonna do. I almost feel like just tossing their names into a hat and just picking..lol  because NOT voting just isn't an option. I can't believe how many people I have heard say that. That is just wrong. We might not like the choices everyone but VOTE..

I think that bush has done enough harm . Being a military wife its hard to see our men going through hell. I think that McCain is a miny bush and we cant sit here and gripe about how bad things are and put him in there. I hear so much about how bad Bush is but we have to look at the fact that we make the change and ONLY we can get someone better in there . They all have faults but McCain is a death sentence for this country

I personally am trying to pretend like it's not going on... I am just going to play with my CareBears.. LOL!

Ok honestly the tv is on cartoons all day. I trust my family on who to vote for this time... sounds bad...but since I had my son I can't watch the news...freaks me out too much. As you all know I already have "issues" or I wouldn't even be here! LOL!

Gotta go with the guy/party most likely to improve health insurance coverage for average people-like most of us here- and it ain't Mr. McCain and friends. Not being set in your ways is an advantage when things are going in the wrong direction. Time to get off the dead horse. Obama is brilliant - he will surround himself with intelligent advisors. Can't handle another Bush term. Only way I could support McCain is if I liked what has been happening for the last eight years. Nope, No can do.
IMHO also.

I'm not impressed with either one myself, but what can we do?........I guess you could write in Hillary.   Of the 2 the pit bull is the only one I see who can handle the job.and that is because of the people he will be able to fall back on!!

Shoulda  done your fish guttin' sooner!!!      LOL!!!

I don't particularly like either one, however Obama is Ignorant...I did not say stupid!
He lacks experiance, has made remarks that do not bode well for a President and as much as I do not like the fact we are in Iraq, we cannot just bow out now as he says he will do.

Mr. McCain has been in the political game and has been to vietnam and has the experiance to at least have the resorces to pick a cabinet and advisors to solve things or at least maintain until the next election...Hopefully we will have a good qualified candidate then.
