The internet is great for info BUT it's never a diagnostic tool. You've scared yourself!!
Both smoking and opiates really do a number on some people as far as stomach issues go. You'll feel better once you have all the tests done. Mostly, you probably need a diet change...
Feel better and look around for that sense of humor you seem to have misplaced!! Remember the night your hand got caught in the bed??? Hysterical!!!
Sure hope your appointment went well.
I agree you that freaked yourself out thinking it's cancer. There's nothing wrong with looking at the internet trying to research symptoms but you can't take any of it to heart. If you get stressed easily, then I wouldn't even search the net. Any symptom that anyone has at any certain time could have something in common with cancer but most of the time it's not. Never jump to conclusions from health information you researched on the net. Always check with a doctor before you get worked up over anything. It's just not worth the added stress.
Keep us posted and try not to worry until there is reason to worry. I'm sure it's nothing serious.
To vicki, yes, I remember, I don't think I will forget that one LOL
To domino, I don't know what it is yet, I have an upper GI tract test soon. That's about it. Thank you for asking. BMDAD, yeah, I knew better than to let myself get to into it. I was actually surprised that I didn't get as freaked out as I usually do. Thank you all for replying. It's nice that when I have been on this site for a while, and try to help out people, I get people still helping me, even though I am the unfunniest ***** off there can be.
Just keep us posted on what is going on..........
Im very new and struggling but when looking at dominosarah's profile(I value her opinion ALOT)
I caught this post. I had red blood when passing stool about 12 years ago. I let it go thinking hemmroids, I had just had a daughter, and wasnt really paying attention to myself. My wife made me go to the doctors and it turned out it was colon cancer. The next day they were able to remove it and now thirteen years later I am still cancer free.
Dont freak out. Doctors are amazing, and you will be OK!
Sorry if I put my nose where it didnt belong...
