I need help here

Okay I have been here for a year now. I found this place because I did something that I am not proud of. I cheated on my wife and all of a sudden I got worried I had contracted HIV. Lucky for me I did not yes I came clean with my wife and we have become closer than what we were.
Well here it goes I may be leaving Med Help for good I have done this before but I have came back I just had this place in my heart I felt I was needed. I know I am not needed in this forum here I cant relate to most here because I have no idea what its like to suffer from an addiction. Let me tell you I have talked to some good people here and thanks for excepting me when you didnt have to being I am kind of an outsider. I really dont know what to do? What will my life be like without some of you guys who have been there for me? Especially the times when I have been so down.
If I do leave I know I will delete all of my profile info and I will ask to be terminated so I cant come back this is VERY hard for me. I am not looking for sorrow or compassion. I just want to know who thinks this would be the wrong choice.
View my profile I am mainly active in the HIV prevention forum.
My wife knows that I am here daily and she herself has an account here under teach78. She is not as active as me but she thinks that Med Help is a very good medical community.
You guys just let me know I will wait and read all before I decide anything

Leaving is of course, your choice. I can't speak for you, but, for me. I stay because it helps me and I enjoy helping others. You didn't say why you felt like leaving so it is hard to comment on that. Leaving should be for the right reasons.

Please dont go.  You dont have to have an addiction to be here.  Look at all the help you have given to people.  Yesterday is an example.  Remember??  If you are doubting yourself than stay on Medhelp.  I think you have alot of good advice to give yet.    sara

I do understand what you are saying but instead of deleting your profile let it stay up and if you feel the need to get on here then it is still at your disposal.  If you feel like you need to take a break then do that but dont delete your profile.  Alot of people keep theirs up and just jump in once in awhile with an update.  Just giving you something to think about here.          sara

After reading your post.....you kind of answered your own question.  So, you don't relate?  You have found support here and obviously people that have touched your life.  I say..don't terminate your account......just leave the door open to come back when you need support.  If you terminate your account ....you can't enter the HIV prevention forum either.......If its bothering you that much then don't do it......
