Many prayers for Enemy and Cathy
Many prayers are being sent to our members in the path of Hurricane Gustav. I know this is a difficult time for you both mentally and physicall and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Okay I am now totally homebound and cut off from all adult compainions exceot for my friends on here. Water has gone over the highway and they have told us not to leave the house. I am locked in this house with "iDioTS". It is a zoo here with the animals in the house barking, my daughers screaming at each other, and the tv going off and on.
I feel extra sorry for the people down south without electricity, but you guys don't forget to pray for us too. A "rain day" or "snow day" is fun for a day but not a week.

OMG...WE JUST HEARD THAT WE COULD BE 2 WEEKS GETTIN ELECTRICITY....we have a generator but cant run the a/c.....its hot. i have never seen such distruction....baton rouge looks like a war zone for real.....every street has lots of trees down on it.....it is terrible.....
That's great Enemy, I am really glad you are safe. My best friend who lives about 15 minutes from me has no power (except for the generator) and they told her it would be about 3-4 days before she got her power back on because we had sent all our entergy trucks to you guys.
I am just so thankful the storm wasn't as bad as they said. Now we just have to watch the other three out there.

We just got our electricity back. That's the worst part because of the heat.
When you loose power, that's when the party starts. We were out just over 24 hours.
But Lafayette was lucky! The storm was a wussy by the time it reached us. We actually sat outside the whole time under the carport w/raincoats & watched.
I want to thank everyone for the care & concern. It REALLY means so much.

it seems those hurricanes can be very sneaky. Everyone ran to Baton Rouge to get away from it and they got hit the worst. Go figure?........

baton rouge did not fair too well. there are 8 huge trees across the road here. they say it will be a week or more with no electricity,,,,,100% od baton rouge is in the dark. this is the worst hurricane ever to hit us. its been a nightmare. keep us in your paryers.
