Another post I read brought this to my mind, so I thought I'd bring up the Mental Health and Addiction Parity Act and see if people were even aware of it. Since it's another step in the right direction for making treatment more available to people and relevant to most people here:

"Both the US House and US Senate have passed bills that would require certain group health plans to offer mental health and addiction insurance benefits that are on par with the benefits provided for medical and surgical services. Now, the two chambers of Congress must reconcile the significant differences in these two bills and send a single, compromise bill to the President for his signature."

If you are interested and politically involved at all you might want to research it more - but now would be a good time to write your Senator/Representative with your opinion... and put a little pressure on them to work things out on the bill.
