Addiction to pain meds

I cant seem to let this go... they have taken control of my life- perkocet and Vicodin. The pain is awaful when you begin to let go so I just keep taking in more. This weeked I took 40 perks.... ahhh I feel horrible. Now Im dying because I didnt have one pill.. my friend stopped by and dropped me 4 vic... i HAVE TO EXTEND THESE... but what do I do at nightime? I cant let anyone find out anything... and I've been thru the WD's... and its HORRIBLE. PLEASE HELP ME. I WANT TO DIE.

Hang in there and as I am sure you know as you said you have been thru wds before that it doesget better. Just try the best way possible to keep busy this takes forcing yourself but it has helped me many times thru them...

Well I dont want to vote for narcotics or addiction so I am confused again. It does sound like it is time for you to do something, though. Just about everybody here is all too familiar with your story. Most of us realized that the pills had long outlived any positive return or usefulness. Withdrawals are horrible.......but a continuing addiction may be worse. You wont die from withdrawal. And you soon will remember how good the world is after all. Keep posting with any questions or for advice and support.
