On Line Drugs

I am on day 4 wd from vic's. Not feeling too bad. I am trying to get my best friend to stop using with me. She is not interested. I know that someone has to want to do it for it to work. My question however is this. She is running out of pills every month and I used to share with her and I her I could no longer do that b/c it would jepardise my sobierty. I know, I am a terrible speller. She said she would try to get pills (percocts are her choice) on line. I told her that was a bad idea, not only is it illegal but it could be dangerous as you do not know what you are getting. I am worried something bad will happen. Has anyone experianced on line drugs.

As for your online-drugs query...

I fill prescriptions for stuff like Effexor & Captopril & Penicillamine through online pharmacies, but I have zero experience filling any form of narcotics on the web.

Online pharmacies are considerably less expensive than 'real' pharmacies (pharmacies with a store-front), but from what I understand about online narcotics, they tend to be more expensive and less reliable (as most of the online pharmacies that sell narcotics without a prescription are shady & will probably steal your money, or send you sub-standard medications).

Advise her not to do it... nothing good will come from it.

Congratulations on Day-4 and your decision to clean up!

I know she is your best friend, but if she is using and you're trying to get clean, you really need to separate from her (at least in the short-term) and ask her to respectfully "keep her distance"

Getting clean is hard enough without someone popping pills right in front of you. You need to surround yourself with sober people, not pill-poppers!

Congratulations on your 4-days, again, and keep up the awesome work. You're doing great!

Tell her that as what happened to a friend of ours, she might get a letter from the local DEA office saying the have a package for her to pick up.  Friend of ours used to order Ativan on line...that scared the bejeebers out of her...no more..she figured if she ordered again, the DEA would be making the delivery...and pick up with braclets..

Aint worth the risk..

Online pharmacies are a huge risk.  They are not legal because there is not a physical doctor patient relationship.  I used online pharmacies in the heat of my addiction and spent thousands of dollars.  I ended up running into some legal issues and was targeted by homeland security and US customs - I travel quite a bit - in the US and overseas.  Tell your friend it is not worth it and not to use online pharmacies - in the end, she will get caught.

NOT a good idea! Tell her so but if she won't listen. You don't want to be there when the DEA busts down the doors.
