On the mend.....

So we are back on the mend, back to being us, and back on the sobriety truck.  11 days and no sign of the soma.  I even went to the doctor with her yesterday and I am so proud of the honesty she showed.  We do have a great doc and he is very knowledgeable and supportive.  

Anyway, she is back to being herself, even worked this weekend.  I am so proud and am glad we went through what we did.  I learned a lot and so did she.  Thank you for your prayers and support.  Sorry I can't get on here alot, but I only have internet at work and am only in the office 2 days a week.

so we have been up and down a few more times...not sure how many times I will be able to stick w/ it, but she is on the mend again.  It seems like a never ending cycle.  I have made it clear that I will only hold on as long as I can.  

Things are getting better.  I still feel like we are making progress...and progress is better than nothing.

Congrats, sweetie.  Sometimes relapse lays the groundwork for a lifetime of sobriety.  I read that in the NA basic text one time.  

Im not on much anymore, but havent forgotten all you randoms.  Are you thinking about the get together I read about this mid-summer?  If you all go, I will.
