To the lovely lady married to that wonderful man, John. Hi.
John has been such a good contributor here. We all love him and he always speaks highly of you. Stick with him through this time. I believe he will get through this. This is not easy fro him or you but know this. It is a process staying clean. He needs you now more than ever.
John; I forgot to check this side of the forum. I hope you are doing well. So go get em tiger.

Hey Mrs. Hopsing,

I'm thrilled you were here to check things out and support your husband.  People that are going through addiction/dependency issues feel badly enough about themselves, what's happened to their lives, what it's done to the people they care about, and that it happened in the first place, that support is absolutely KEY to getting through it all.  It's hard on the body mentally, and physically, with ups and downs and all kinds of stress.  It's very hard for people going through all of this to be completely honest with the people in their lives because they don't want to embarrass themselves, hurt or disappoint the people they love, or feel like a pariah.  So, it's really wonderful that Mr. Hopsing loved you enough (and himself) to risk it all by asking you for your help and support, AND that you are willing to listen.  I wish you both strength, love, and peace through it all.  : )

Hello, Mrs. Hops. That's a good man you've got there. He was very worried days ago that you might not be near so supportive. You are in a position to make this process much less painful for him, and then he's going to owe you one. Works out all around. Anyway, It's a true pleasure to know that you frequent these pages.

Hi Mrs. Hops! Sorry i missed you on here last night but i didnt want to miss the opportunity to say hello and welcome you to the forum and introduce myself to you. My name is Lori and i and my husband are about a week ahead of john in starting suboxone. I too tried c.t like your husband and it was too much to bare. It is so great that you are here with him and supporting him. It is so important for john to have your support. I remember lurking on here when john came on the first time and he was from the very beginning so concerned about you. about losing you and about beating this addiction for you. So the fact that you are here with him and helping him ..i know how huge that will be in helping him stay clean this time. I truly feel that with you by his side and him being on the suboxone he will make it this time..he cant lose. You (and of course himself) are what he wanted to do this for and what matters most to him and i know myself that having my husband and my family by my side makes me so much stronger and determined to do it . So this is a wonderful thing for you both. I wish both of you and your family all the best and ill continue to pray for you all. So nice to have you here Mrs. Hops...love and prayers..Lori

Good Morning Mrs. Hops! I am so glad you decided to come here to the forum with your husband. I think this site will be a real eye opener to you and make you realize how many poeople are affected by this horrible addiction. We are all good, well meaning people, and most of us had (and still do have) injuries/chronic pain issues that got us started on this path to hell, had no intentions on becoming an addict, but wound up that way anyhow. It sneaks up on you. It is one of the hardest things in life to overcome, but it can be done with determination, hard work and lots of support and aftercare. I am so very glad you are staying with your husband and helping him through this journey.

Hi Mrs. Hops,
Nice to meet you and glad you're takeing an active interest in your hubby's recovery. You must be very special. Addiction is a hard life long problem that alot of us never expected to find ourselves in. Most of us are normal everyday people, just trying to get our lives back and fight this disease. I know Hops wants his life back and to keep the family he loves intact. Good luck to both of you. I'm sure with your support, Hops will come thru this a new and improved man.

Hey Mrs. Hopsing,  It's so great that your coming on the forum.  It's not easy to understand this addiction and what it does to wonderful people, like your hubby and the rest of us.  I sure never thought I would be an addict.  It snuck up on me after an auto accident.  Then the next thing I knew there was Mrs. Clever (me) lol  out looking for drugs where ever I could find them.  So glad your helping the hubby with this. It really is hard road.  Hugs,  Mary
