Who all reads this site?

After reading a post from a member, it made me wonder.  Do you think the DEA, Narc Task forces, etc. reads forums like this for information?  It has gotten to the point that the government knows everything about us, it wouldn't suprise me at all.

If, as you might think, that a police agency of any type, was doing investigations through here and found anything it would have run through this place like wildfire. What I mean to say is that connections of friendship have been ongoing here throughout the years and even the remote possibility of anyone being taken away by an agency would have rung a bell here. There is no doubt, that they have peeked in here and have found nothing to spend their time on. The relationships her are not the type that will want them to send in the troops. They want the truly hardened abuser who will lead them to the dealer and on up the ladder. We are small fry here and the only thing they can get from us is eppis. That is a Jewish word meaning "Nothing."

We are definitely on the same page. I have a huge problem with the sites who tells one how to get drugs and what to tell the doc to get them and even how to snort, shoot and crush meds to get a better high! I see that sometimes here and I QUICKY report them and now that I am a CL I delete them immediately. Med help is one of the few sites left where you can get help without all that non sense and I for one hope it stays that way and will do everything I can to help keep it a place where you can get help w/o the drug addicts looking for better new ways to get high. I know it takes alot of courage will power and bravery to get clean and stay clean and one who has decided to get/stay sober certainly does not need that kind of help.

I was paranoid when I was using...now I have nothing to fear because I'm clean.  Besides, both of my drug dealers were busted not long after I stopped using (coccaine)...and, no, I had nothing to do with their bust...I'm not a narc...just a bit crazy.

I know they have key words terms they do checks for. If they come up, they check into site content.
However, given the size of the internet, it's a bit pot luck them noticing you.

Since this site is high on the google search list for addiction, I'd guess it has been checked out occassionally. But they aren't totally stupid. They can tell a responsibly run place.

you know they might be checking out all those sites that allow you to get your meds online with just a 25.99 membership monthly fee,  no medical exam or script required. RIGHT? its really sad to know that so many people with additions hit those spots like wildfire and just lose everything because of the temptation it supplys. yes i do understand that no one made them order these online meds but come on that just over the line for he to deal with, i cant believe they are up and runing and making BILLIONOF$ from it! that is really so sad to now , they should have came here first yea? and it sure would have been a lot cheaper to!  whats going to be next?       sherri

Everyone on the internet can read this site... I'd be more concerned about scammers, predators and marketers causing problems for people here before worrying about government conspiracies on MedHelp. But that's just me. lol

What good would it do them to look at this site?  A group of people that mostly through no fault of their own, or even if it was their fault, doesnt matter are trying to better themselves.  Id say no they are looking for the big time dealers who arent going to be posting here anytime soon.

I forgot to add: The first time I searched for addiction places like this, I came across one site that actually wrote out how to do drugs, how to get them faster, what to tell the doctor to get them etc.  Now THAT is a site that might interest the DEA and doctors.  And those are the people that make it difficult for people who really have true pain and are not just seeking a buzz.  

People here WANT to quit.

Plus the people here are trying to QUIT taking these pills.  Why go after someone like that?

I think we are safe.....DEA is after dealers and distributor's ,we are just little addicted fish in a much bigger pool.

I would like to think NO they don't b/c that would be like them going to NA meetings wouldn't it? But I guess anyone can read on here......anyone can have an addiction problem as well....so you never know do you.....they could be reading here but not for the reasons we would think??? Just a thought.
