drug ads causing problems here on med help

I clicked on a post here entitled "oxycodone and nicotine interaction" and all I could get was an ad for a drug called levoquin. I tried it several times and it was an ad that took over and was hard to get out of. I wanted to see the post but got stuck in a big pharma quagmire instead. Anyone know about this?

OK I talked with MedHelp.

They are very sorry for any ads appearing that may affect our members' sobriety.  In order to remove these ads, they need a list of the ads for addictive medication and their address links ...   If you tell Sara or myself where you see them (if they are any type of addictive substance) MedHelp will try to replace these ads with new ones in our forums ASAP. They  want to keep our Addiction communities a safe place for all.

Hi~   I don't have a clue why you're getting that...  I saw that post yesterday and read it just fine. Just checked now and it still comes up okay,no ads.  Do you think it's because that post is so old? Shouldn't matter but it's a curious thing that you're experiencing.  I wonder if I should bump it up...maybe that would do the trick so you can read it.
