52 years with the same person

Just had my 52nd anniversary. It is amazing how great life can get with the same partner. We have had our share of arguments and the like with each other but always come out of them stronger and better. I have found that when you do get into it, it is better if you take the time to listen rather than try to drown out what the other is saying. 52 years and our love is stronger with each passing day. No matter what trials or travails we go through, we try to remember why we got married in the first place. This always clears the air and gets us lautghing about how stupid we tend to act during a spat. My point is that the reason we got this far is because we take the time to listen to each other. Many marriages are ended because someone forgot that the other half is a person also.

We are coming up to 31 years and I totally agree it gets better every year we are together,

We found it got easier when the kids got their licenses,and could run around after themselves,

Now we just spoil the grandkids
